After eight years of New York City practice — first in not-for-profit architecture (homeless shelters, affordable housing, health facilities) and then as a project manager for a general contractor — Scott moved with his family to Israel and was hired as Site Architect on the Bahai World Centre in Haifa. The project was a dramatic shift in scale and execution, with a contract preamble stating it was intended to last five hundred years.
